SUV Shoots At People On Newark Street, Suspect At-Large
Newark police are investigating a shooting over the weekend where a suspect in a white SUV shot at people gathered on a residential street.
NEWARK, CA — Newark police are investigating a shooting over the weekend where a suspect in a white SUV shot at people gathered on a residential street.
Officers responded at about 3:57 p.m. Sunday to the 6200 block of Baine Avenue after reports of a shooting, but the suspect was gone by the time they arrived. Police learned two shots were fired at unsuspecting victims outside their homes.
No injuries were reported. The motive remains unknown.
