Woman With Newark Ties Chosen For Hall of Fame
The annual event honors 12 women for contributions in business, arts, science, and more.
NEWARK, CA — The Alameda County Women’s Hall of Fame has announced its 2025 class of inductees, recognizing 12 outstanding women for their contributions to the community across a range of fields. Including in the list of honorees is Maithri Venkat, a Manager at Lucid Motors in Newark.
Established in 1993, the Hall of Fame celebrates the achievements of women who have made a lasting impact in Alameda County. The 2025 honorees will be formally inducted at the 30th Annual Luncheon & Inductee Ceremony on April 26 at The Club at Castlewood in Pleasanton. The event will also highlight six student scholarship recipients through the Mary V. King/Wilma Chan Youth Scholarship Fund.
“This year’s inductees represent the best of Alameda County—leaders, visionaries, and changemakers who inspire us with their dedication and impact,” said event organizers. “Their legacies will be preserved in county archives for future generations to admire.”
