Corona Del Mar Smoke Shop Sold Illegal Pot, Magic Mushrooms To Minors, Police Say
Detectives seized over 450 pounds of THC/cannabis, magic mushrooms, nitrous oxide and prohibited tobacco products from the store.
NEWPORT BEACH, CA — A Corona del Mar smoke shop was accused of selling illegal products to minors, according to the Newport Beach Police Department.
A search warrant at Tobacco and Accessories were served on June 10, according to police. During the search of the business, police found over 454 pounds of THC/cannabis, psilocybin (magic mushrooms), nitrous oxide and prohibited tobacco products.
According to police, the store owner kept the illegal products in a secret room which she made available to customers who knew to ask.

"The Newport Beach Police Department remains committed to enforcing laws that safeguard our community — especially our youth — from illegal drug activity," NBPD Chief Miner said.
The investigation is ongoing and has been forward to the Orange County District Attorney's Office for consideration.
