Drugs Found In Stolen Porsche, Suspects Arrested In Newport Beach

NEWPORT BEACH, CA — Two people were arrested Sunday night in Newport Beach after he was accused of stealing a car and holding drugs, authorities said.

Officers were dispatched Sunday at 11:10 p.m., when they responded to a stolen vehicle report near West Coast Highway and Highland Street.

The vehicle, confirmed stolen, was found and followed.

Once authorities pulled over the car, a search of the vehicle found methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, amphetamine pills and psilocybin mushrooms.

The vehicle was towed and two people were taken to jail, police said. They were not identified.

No further information was immediately available.
