Gelson’s To Host Hiring Event In Newport Beach

NEWPORT BEACH, CA — A Southland-based supermarket is gearing up to hire hundreds of new people for dozens of positions next month.

Gelsons, which operates 27 full-service grocery stores across Los Angeles, San Diego and Orange Counties will host a job fair in early April.

At the Newport Beach location, the store is looking to hire 16 people for the following positions:

• Assistant manager
• Three bakers
• Baker counter employee
• Two clerks helpers
• Floral designer
• Grocery clerk
• Two porters
• Produce Clerk
• Assistant service deli manager
• Three kitchen employees

The hiring event is set for April 6 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Applicants should check-in at the front desk to be directed to the job fair.
