NEWPORT BEACH-CORONA DEL MAR, CA— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

What makes your Mom extra special?
My mom is 94 years old, lost her husband of 72 years a year and a half ago, but is going strong! We're facing some difficult times right now but she's so strong for me, we are truly leaning on each other and surviving!
Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?
At 94 years old she helps me in my business, and I keep her busy so she's distracted from the issues she's going through.
