Man Wearing Only Underwear Fatally Struck By Car In Newport Beach
The man apparently jumped out in front of a woman's vehicle while she was driving the San Joaquin Hills Corridor.
NEWPORT BEACH, CA — A man wearing only underwear was fatally struck by a vehicle on the California State route 73 in Newport Beach, authorities said Monday.
The crash was reported at 9:59 p.m. by the driver who struck the man, who said that the person jumped in front of her vehicle on the southbound side of the road at the MacArthur Boulevard exit.
All southbound lanes were shut down at 10:12 p.m. and the MacArthur on-ramp to the freeway was also shut down.

The Jamboree Road on-ramp was also shut down at 10:39 p.m.
