Man Who Sexually Assaulted 2 Girls While Living With Them Charged: Police

COSTA MESA, CA — A 48-year-old man is facing charges of sexually assaulting two girls while residing with them in Costa Mesa.

Hermelindo Flores Alejandro was charged Monday with four counts of lewd or lascivious acts on a minor younger than 14, two counts of oral copulation or sexual penetration of a child 10 or younger, and a count of forcible lewd acts on a child, according to court records.

Alejandro is accused of attacking one of the girls in 2017 and the other in 2013, according to court records. He allegedly met the girls while renting a room with their families in Costa Mesa, authorities said.

His current city of residence was not disclosed.
