Newport Beach Animal Shelter On Track To Open By Summer: Report
The Friends of Newport Beach Animal Shelter will be able to hold some two-dozen stray cats and dogs, the Orange County Register reported.
NEWPORT BEACH, CA — Newport Beach will soon have a new animal shelter of its own that will open sometime this summer, according to a report from the Orange County Register.
The Friends of Newport Beach Animal Shelter is on track to open at Riverside Drive in Santa Ana Heights later this year after construction began in January, the paper reported.
Once completed, the shelter will have a kennel able to hold 29 dogs and a cattery that will hold an unspecified number of cats, the Register reported.
