Newport Beach-Based Pizzeria Chain Teams Up With Los Angeles Angels
Mountain Mike's Pizza was named the official pizza partner of the Angels right at the start of baseball season.

NEWPORT BEACH, CA — A Newport Beach-based pizza chain will have its name strewn across Angel Stadium this baseball season as it has been named the official pizza partner of the Los Angeles Angels.
Mountain Mike's Pizza will have branded in-stadium signage as part of the partnership and will be the presenting sponsor for the team's Angels Baseball Foundation Community Program, the company announced in March.
Chris Britt, co-CEO and co-owner of the pizza company, called the partnership exciting and said it was a privilege to be able to work with the Angels.

"I grew up in Orange County, have been attending games at the Big A for decades, and have vivid memories from my days as a little leaguer and Junior Angels Club member," Britt said. "I know first-hand that the Angels and Mountain Mike’s each have rich histories of success and engagement with families and communities."
The pizzeria has more than 250 restaurants across the Western United States, including in California and Arizona, the company said.

Although Mountain Mike's started in Northern California, the company moved its headquarters to the Newport Beach area in 2017.
"We are excited to welcome Mountain Mike's Pizza to the Angels Family," Dennis Kuhl, the team's chairman, said. "We look forward to working together to achieve our common goal of uniting families and our community through our beloved sport of baseball."
