Newport Beach City Council To Hold Town Hall Next Month

The town hall will be for residents in council districts one and six and it will cover issues like safety, homelessness and recycling.

NEWPORT BEACH, CA — The Newport Beach City Council will hold a virtual town hall meeting next month, geared toward residents living in council districts 1 and 6.

The meeting will go over several topics relevant to each district, including public safety, homelessness, organic recycling, development projects and updates on the Newport Habor, city officials said.

City Council District 1 includes the Balboa Peninsula and ocean-facing portions of West Newport. Councilmember Diane Brooks Dixon represents the district.

City Council District 6 covers Corona del Mar. Councilmember Joy Brenner represents the district.

The town hall will be held on March 3, from 5 to 7 p.m., through Zoom. Residents interested in attending can visit the city's website.
