Newport Chamber Of Commerce To Host Police Appreciation Breakfast

NEWPORT BEACH, CA — The Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce will celebrate the city's police department on March 31 with an appreciation breakfast.

The 49th annual Police Appreciation Breakfast will be from 7:15 to 9 a.m. at the Hyatt Regency John Wayne Airport Newport Beach. Keith Morrison, a journalist for Dateline NBC, will emcee the event, the chamber said.

The chamber of commerce will give awards for the officer, reserve officer, civilian, supervisor and volunteer of the year.

"The chamber recognizes the Newport Beach Police Department in an effort to show how much residents and local businesses appreciate the work these men and women do for Newport Beach," the chamber of commerce said.

The breakfast event is open to the public, and single tickets are $55. A table of 12 is $650.
