Newport And Corona Del Mar Restaurant Voted Top 100 In America

NEWPORT BEACH, CA – The reviews are in: Newport Beach and Corona Del Mar still have some of the best food in the country.

OpenTable, a restaurant reservation and review website, just released its Top 100 restaurants in America in 2021. The rankings are based on an analysis of over 10.5 million reviews of restaurants across the country submitted by OpenTable diners.

Diners decided that The Dock in Newport Beach made the cut. The Dock is a contemporary French and American seafood restaurant along LaFayette Avenue. The average price per dish is $50, according to OpenTable.

Also on the list was CDM Restaurant in Corona Del Mar. The restaurant specializes in American seafood, and the average price of a meal is $30, according to OpenTable.

Diners seem to be impressed with California in general: 12 California restaurants made the list. That is more than any other state - including New York, which has nine. Four restaurants were located in Orange County, twice as many as LA’s two. Orange County also beat out San Francisco (3) and San Diego (3).
