Newport-Mesa Taps Dipali Potnis As New Costa Mesa High Principal
Diapli Potnis previously served as the principal of TeWinkle Middle School, Newport-Mesa Unified School District officials said.

COSTA MESA, CA — Costa Mesa High School has found its new principal for the upcoming school year, the Newport-Mesa Unified School District announced Thursday.
District officials have taped Dipali Potnis to lead the campus starting July 1.
Before the appointment, Potnis spent five years as TeWinkle Middle School's principal. She also served as an assistant principal in the Capistrano Unified School District and was an instructional coach and teacher for the Los Angeles Unified School District, Newport-Mesa officials said.

Potnis holds a doctorate of education from the University of Southern California and a master's degree in education from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Assistant Superintendent of Secondary Education Kerrie Torres praised Potnis' experience as being a perfect fit for Costa Mesa High.

"Dr. Potnis has the experience to meet the challenges of being the principal of a comprehensive high school," Torres said. "Her track record shows she is a collaborative leader focused on student opportunity and achievement."
