Orange County Sheriff's To Host Easter Egg Hunt For Blind Youths
The hunt will involve specially equipped Easter eggs that emit a beeping sound for youths to find.

NEWPORT BEACH, CA — Visually impaired and blind youths in Orange County will get the chance to take part in an Easter egg hunt of their own this Saturday in Newport Beach, thanks to the Orange County Sheriff's Department.
The sheriff's department's bomb squad has teamed up with local nonprofit organization Beyond Blindness to host the special Easter egg hunt at the Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort at 11:30 a.m.
Bomb squad members spent weeks leading up to the event equipping plastic eggs with beeping devices that will "provide visually impaired students [of Beyond Blindess] a sensory version of an Easter egg hunt," Orange County Sheriff's said.
