Luke's Lobster expects to open its first Orange County location in Newport Beach in the near future.

The eatery, known for its chilled New England-style lobster rolls, will open on Balboa Island for counter service.

The chain was founded in 2009 by third-generation lobsterman Luke Holden, according to the eatery's website.

The chain is known for its signature lobster rolls, each one featuring a buttered bun loaded will chilled lobster, mayonnaise and a drizzle of lemon butter.
