South Coast Plaza Robbers Sought By Costa Mesa Police
Authorities are searching for three to five masked men who stole a purse at South Coast Plaza, one man was reportedly armed.
NEWPORT BEACH, CA — Costa Mesa police Tuesday were looking for several suspects involved in a robbery at South Coast Plaza.
Police were called at 7:13 p.m. Monday regarding the armed robbery at the mall at 3300 Bristol St.
Three to five masked men wearing black clothes and hoodies told customers in a patio at the Seasons 52 restaurant to "get down," with one robber apparently armed with a gun, said Roxi Fyad of the Costa Mesa Police Department.
The robbers ran off with a purse and fled in a white Buick four-door vehicle south on Bristol, Fyad said.
