1 Person Shot Near Tujunga Ave. in North Hollywood

The victim of the gunshot wound is hit one time and is expected to survive.

Two people opened fire on Tujunga Avenue in North Hollywood last night, missing their intended victim but striking a bystander, who was a family member of the intended victim, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. 

The LAPD North Hollywood Division posted the following message on its Facebook page this morning:

Wondering what the commotion was about last night? At approximately 8:00pm, a shooting occurred near Tujunga Ave and Miranda St. The Suspects exited their vehicle and began shooting at the intended Victim. They ended up hitting a family member who was standing behind the intended Victim. The Victim of the gunshot wound was hit one time and is expected to survive.
