All Lanes On Northbound 170 Blocked Due To Solo Car Crash

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA — All lanes on the northbound Interstate 170 is currently blocked off due to a car crash. A SIG Alert was issued at 9:26 a.m. after a major crash involving car that spun off the road into an embankment.

An initial California Highway Patrol report said a black pickup truck flipped over several times in a solo collision before sliding down a dirt embankment. Witnesses reported the male driver was crawling outside of his car before an ambulance arrived to treat for injuries.

The incident also caused a hazmat spill, according to CHP.
