Cooper Noriega, TikTok Star, Found Dead In Burbank Parking Lot

The teen social media star with more than 1.7 million followers on TikTok, had hours earlier posted a video about dying young.

BURBANK, CA — Teen TikTok star Cooper Noriega was pronounced dead in Burbank just hours after posting a video of himself alluding to his death, authorities confirmed Friday.

The TikTok sensation posted a video of himself lying in bed, writing "who else b thinking they gon d!€ young af."

The 19-year-old was pronounced dead after being found unresponsive in Burbank mall parking lot in the 500 block of North First Street, near the Golden State (5) Freeway at about 4:20 p.m. Thursday, Sarah Ardalani, a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles County coroner's office, told City News Service.

Ardalani said Noriega's cause of death is being deferred, but TMZ reported foul play is not suspected.

Noriega had more than 1.7 million followers on TikTok.

He recently disclosed his struggles with mental health when he started a Discord group inviting his followers to share their own struggles, according to a GoFundMe page raising money for his funeral costs.

“I created [this] because of how much I love you guys and how much I struggle with it myself,” he wrote. “I want you guys to not be alone and [to] feel safe.
