Feel Good Film Festival Coming to NoHo Friday
Now in its 5th year, the event will take place at the Leammle NoHo 7.

Entering into its fifth year, Hollywood's International Feel Good Film Festival (FGFF) announces it will hold its 2012 event at Laemmle's newes all-digital theater in the heart of North Hollywood's Arts District. Dedicated to provide a platform for filmmakers worldwide with positive views on life, the Festival will take place August 3-5, 2012, with pre- and post-screening gala parties and an encore screening of the winning films on Thursday, August 9.
"FGFF films offer innocence, hope, and change - something we so desperately need..," according to The Los Angeles Journal. "We are proud to support the expansion of NoHo's Arts District by having this year's screenings at the District's newest addition of Laemmle's Theatre," says Karyn Jones, 2012 FGFF Director. "This is our 5th year anniversary, and we want to make it a special one for every filmmaker, festival goers and supporters, and the general NoHo neighborhood."

The non-profit Feel Good Film Festival encourages the development, production, and distribution of films with happy endings, that make audiences laugh and that capture the beauty within us and within the world we share. FGFF showcases feel-good features, shorts, student films, and screenplays including live-action, animation, comedy, documentaries, and drama with positive themes.
Prize packages from previous FGFF editions have totaled more than $100,000 USD in cash and essential goods and services for working filmmakers from sponsors like Panavision, Hollywood Rentals, Adobe, Greenhouse Studios, ISS Props, New York Film Academy, and more.
Notable past films screened include two Academy Award winning films - Westbank Story and God of Love - Valerie Weiss' Losing Control, Rosa Karo's The Italian Key, Showtime's I Am Comic, and films from over 25 countries including Venezuela, Estonia, China, and Finland. A few of Feel Good's past celebrity appearances include Rainn Wilson, Carlos Mencia, Cheryl Hines, Shirley Jones, Hal Sparks, Valente Rodriguez, Tom Kenny, Patrick Warburton and Ed Asner.
Advanced tickets and all access passes will be available this July at www.fgff.org. Additional information on films screening, schedules, gala events, panels and ticketing will be available on the w w w .FG FF.org website closer to the event date.

The FGFF festivities are being hosted by Laemmle's Noho 7 Theater, a long time supporter of the small, independent filmmaker with filmmaker friendly service. This beautiful, new theater is in the center of Hollywood's Noho "arts district" and walking distance from restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, and cafes.
