Grammy-Winning Singer Florence LaRue Giving Free Show at NoHo Library

The concert is part of the Make Music Los Angeles event taking place around the county.

Grammy-winning singer Florence LaRue will be giving a free show at the on Thursday as part of Make Music Los Angeles, which is "an eleven hour celebration of musical creativity that will take place on June 21, 2012 throughout the entire county of Los Angeles. Many of the city sidewalks, parks, community gardens, street corners and schoolyards will become the backdrop or stage for free concerts," according to Make Music L.A.'s website.

LaRue is best known as an original member of The 5th Dimension, a pop/soul group that recorded numerous hits in the late 60's and early 70s, including "Up, Up and Away," "Stoned Soul Picnic," and "Aquarius/Let the Sunshine In."
