Santa Claus will pay a visit to Pitfire Pizza on Nov. 30 for the first annual NoHo Arts District Holiday Open House. Sponsored by the Mid Town NoHo Neighborhood Council, the free event is from 5-9 p.m. and will include live music, a raffle, a poetry reading and a Christmas tree lighting ceremony with LA City Councilman Paul Krekorian and St. Nick himself. Musical guests from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. include Sue Smart and Everett Coast, while Delbi Smart will perform at 7:30 p.m. A Muay Thay demonstration is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Santa Claus will arrive via fire truck for the tree lighting at 7 p.m. The North Hollywood High Jazz Ensemble will close out the event with some festive music.
