A mountain lion was reported roaming a commercial area in Sun Valley, but no animal was found, police said today. "It was gone by the time the officers and the helicopter got there" around 8 p.m. Thursday, said Sgt. Klaus Edgell of the Los Angeles Police Department's Foothill Station. A witness reported seeing the cat in the 10900 block of Pendleton Street, according to the Los Angeles Times.
