NoHo Porn Studio Sued by Ben & Jerry's Over X-Rated Titles

Ben & Jerry's products have been parodied in the past for their pun-rich ice cream flavor names, but the Vermont-based business is suing a local adult film company for taking things too far, ABC reports.

Rodax Distributors and Caballero Video of North Hollywood are facing a lawsuit for launching a series of hardcore porn films called "Ben & Cherry's." Some entries include Peanut Butter D-Cup, Boston Cream Thigh and Hairy Garcia.

Ben & Jerry's is saying the 10-film series is tainting the ice cream brand's name by linking it with pornography, according to ABC.

Also, the packaging for the films bears images naked men and women juxtaposed with the puffy clouds and cows seen on Ben & Jerry's ice cream containers, causing “confusion, mistake or deception” for shoppers, the lawsuit read.

Ben & Jerry's is seeking unspecified damages and that all copies of the films be destroyed, ABC reports.

Rodax Distributors and Caballero Video did not return calls for comment at press time.
