, the leading chain of self-serve frozen yogurt stores, announced it will be celebrating the fifth anniversary of its Valley Village store at 4849 Laurel Canyon Boulevard in Valley Village. Menchie’s Valley Village was the first Menchie’s store to open and the company now celebrates more than 180 open locations worldwide.

Menchie’s anniversary celebration begins at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 19. Highlights of the event include:

• Spin the smile wheel to win FREE prizes totaling more than $3,000, including a $50 gift card, $100 gift bag and free Menchie’s merchandise from 11 a.m. – 11 p.m.
• FREE photos with Menchie from 11 a.m. – 11 p.m.
• FREE face painting from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.

Menchie’s makes guests smile by serving an unlimited mix of yogurt and toppings at a unique self-serve station with more than 100 rotating yogurt flavors from cake batter and pomegranate tart to chocolate silk and vanilla snow, and more than 70 rotating toppings including fresh fruits, granolas, nuts, an assortment of candies and hot toppings. Menchie’s uses the highest quality frozen yogurt at all of its locations globally, made exclusively through its own private label.
