Police searched in North Hollywood today for a stolen car suspect who eluded police following a brief foot pursuit.
Using police dogs, officers went door to door looking for the suspect who was first spotted about 4 p.m. in the area around Victory Boulevard and Whitsett Avenue, said Los Angeles Police Department Officer Jane Kim.
Kim said that 2 1/2 hours later police still had a perimeter up.
