Trash Truck Catches On Fire Along Northbound Interstate 170
Multiple lanes on the freeway are currently blocked while the Los Angeles Fire Department works to resolve the incident.

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA — A trash truck has caught on fire on the northbound Interstate 170, and is blocking multiple lanes. The fire was reported at 10:58 a.m. near the Burbank Boulevard exit.
The driver was out of the truck on the right shoulder of the freeway, according to California Highway Patrol. Fire trucks from the Los Angeles Fire Department had arrived on scene to extinguish the blaze.
Multiple lanes on the freeway were temporarily blocked while crews worked to put out the fire and remove the truck. A live traffic map showed heavy congestion between Oxnard St and Burbank Boulevard as of 11:16 a.m.
