What Should Replace This Empty Store at Lankershim-Vineland Strip Mall?
The space has been vacant for at least a little more than a year and used to be home to an Armenian deli.

Last year was a big year for the strip mall at Lankershim Boulevard and Vineland Avenue; a new Habit Burger and CVS Pharmacy opened for business, helping to revitalize the shopping center that sits on a corner of the busy "5-Points Intersection."
But since those grand openings, one storefront has been left virtually untouched. If you look at the pictures from Patch's coverage of the Habit opening, you'll notice that 4762 Lankershim Blvd., nestled between a laundromat and a coin laundry spot, is empty.
Nothing has changed about 15 months later. After doing some digging, I found that the store was once home to Hy Mart Deli.

The strip mall's landlord could not be reached for comment. There are no signs indicating that a new tenant is coming and the property does not seem to be listed on major leasing websites like Loopnet.com.
So for now, 4762 Lankershim Blvd. remains a bit of mystery due to the scarcity of details about the vacant space, but Patch will keep you updated if anything becomes of it.
