Woman, 30, Accused Of Fatally Stabbing Man In Van Nuys

A 30-year-old woman was arrested in connection with the stabbing death of a 37-year-old man Sunday in Van Nuys, police said.

LOS ANGELES, CA — A 30-year-old woman was arrested in connection with the stabbing death of a 37-year-old man Sunday in Van Nuys, police said.

The victim was fighting the woman and a 30-year-old man about 1:30 a.m. in the 6900 block of Kester Avenue when the woman stabbed him, said Officer Norma Eisenman of the Los Angeles Police Department's Media Relations Section.

The victim was taken to an area hospital, where he later died.

"The victim is not homeless and the incident is not gang-related," Eisenman said.

There was no other immediate information.
