1 Dead And 1 Wounded In Grocery Store Shooting In LA County
Several teenagers were involved in a violent alteration inside the store that erupted in gunfire. A teenage suspect has been arrested.

SUN VALLEY, CA — A violent altercation ended with a shooting inside a grocery store in Sun Valley late Tuesday night, resulting in the death of a teenager, one wounded and another arrested.
The shooting happened inside the Ralph's grocery store at 8325 Laurel Canyon Blvd at about 11:40 p.m. Tuesday, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
LAPD officers were called to respond to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon at the store, and when they arrived, they learned three men followed two other men into the store, and began beating them with pipe wrenches, said LAPD Officer David Cuellar.

“There was a physical altercation inside the Ralphs when one of the parties pulled a handgun, which struck two people involved in the altercation,” Cuellar said.
One gunshot victim was transported to nearby Pacifica Hospital by an unknown citizen, added Cuellar. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

He was identified by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner as Angelo Cedillo, 19, of Granada Hills, according to police.
The second gunshot victim was found not far from the scene and was hospitalized in stable condition.
"He is described as an 18-year-old male," the LAPD announced n a written statement.
Authorities later located and arrested Jorge Armenta, 18, on suspicion of murder, police said.
He was being held on $2 million bail.
"It is unknown if this is gang-related," added Cuellar.
