5 Hospitalized After 2-Car Crash at Mason and Roscoe

Four persons were reported in critical condition and another in serious-to-fair condition following a two-car crash at Mason Avenue and Roscoe Boulevard early this morning.

The Winnetka collision took place shortly after midnight, according to Matt Spence of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

All the injured were rushed by ambulance to a nearby hospital. The fire department did not need to use the Jaws of Life to extricate the five, Spence said.
