8, Including Children, Injured In SFV Rollover Pileup Crash
At least four vehicles were involved in the crash at a three-way intersection in Sylmar.
SYLMAR, CA — Eight people, including several children, were hurt in a rollover crash at Sylmar intersection Thursday evening.
At least four vehicles were involved in the crash at a three-way intersection in the 14900 block of West Hubbard Street, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey. The crash occured shortly before 3 p.m. Two adults were hospitalized in serious condition, and four children between the ages of 6 and 12 were hospitalized with minor injuries.
"Though seatbelts were used, some of the children were improperly restrained," Humphrey said. "Though seatbelts were used, some of the children were improperly restraine —no car seats in use, at least two children sharing one seat belt. Thankfully, none of the passengers were ejected from the vehicle."

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
