Brush Fire Erupts In Sylmar, Prompting Road Closures
The fire was seen from Interstate 210.

SYLMAR, CA -- A brush fire erupted Monday near a Sylmar freeway. The incident was reported at 11:25 a.m. near eastbound Interstate 210 near Maclay Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The two-acre fire was out within 38 minutes, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The blaze prompted the Los Angeles Police Department to shut down the Hubbard on-ramp to eastbound Interstate 210.

No structures were threatened and no injuries were reported.
