Chatsworth Burglar Makes Off With Gun And Jewelry
Detectives hope someone will recognize the burglar from security footage.

CHATSWORTH, CA — Detectives are looking for a burglar who broke into a Chatsworth apartment over the weekend and stole a firearm and ammunition among other items.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, the burglar got in through an open sliding glass door Friday evening just before 6 p.m. in the 11400 block of Poema Place.
"A Suspect entered an apartment through an open sliding glass door leading to the victim’s bedroom and stole perfumes, jewelry, and a firearm, along with its bag and magazines,"the sheriff's department announced in a written statement. "The suspect then exited through the same sliding glass door without entering any other rooms in the apartment."

Police released a security camera image of the man in hopes that someone will recognize him.
