A local ice cream and burger entrepreneur launches a new line of savory sweets.
Just when you thought LA couldn't churn out anymore over-the-top foodie concoctions like cronuts and ramen burgers, an ice cream maker in Chatsworth has somehow made ice cream sandwiches even sweeter.
LA Artisan Creamery, owned and operated by Umami Burger's Adam Fleischman, has released a small lineup of gourmet donut ice cream sandwiches, reports CNBC.
Among the three flavors is a spin on a classic sammie: a jelly donut with PB&J ice cream.
The sandwiches are being rolled out at three Umami Burger locations.
