Fire Breaks Out At Original Tommy's World Famous Hamburgers

Firefighters arrived to find the kitchen on fire at the Original Tommy's World Famous Hamburgers on Laurel Canyon Boulevard.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Firefighters tackled an early morning fire at the Original Tommy's World Famous Hamburgers in Valley Glen Thursday morning.

The blaze was reported just before 6 a.m. in the 5600 block of North Laurel Canyon Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Fire department.

Firefighters arrived to find smoke billowing from the building and located the fire in the kitchen area of the restaurant, according to LAFD spokeswoman Lyndsey Lantz.

"Companies on the roof and inside the building coordinated ventilation and fire attack operations, achieving knockdown in 23 minutes," Lantz said.

No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire was under investigation.
