Fire Breaks Out At Valley Homeless Encampment
A fire broke out in a residential area in North Hills Monday morning.

NORTH HILLS, CA — Firefighters were working to extinguish a blaze at a North Hills homeless encampment Monday morning.
Crews responded to the fire, located at 9230 N. Langdon Ave., at around 7:30 a.m. The fire broke out in a vacant 37,000-square-foot lot in a residential area near Sepulveda Boulevard and Nordhoff Street, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Firefighters said the blaze appeared to involve fireworks.
