Fire Damages Garage In San Fernando Valley

ARLETA, CA — A fire damaged the attached garage of a house in the Arleta area Tuesday, but no one was hurt.

Firefighters sent to the 13500 block of West Mineola Street at 7:39 a.m. extinguished the flames in about a half hour and prevented them from extending into the residence, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.
