Firefighter Injured Battling Chatsworth House Fire
One firefighter was injured battling a fire that broke out at a Chatsworth home Tuesday morning.

CHATSWORTH, CA — One firefighter was injured while battling a fire that broke out at a Chatsworth home Tuesday morning.
Crews responded to the two-story, single-family home on Christine Place, north of Devonshire Street, at around 10:45 a.m., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
After forcing entry into the home, firefighters found "the first floor well-involved, with very heavy fire in the rear of the building," the LAFD's Lyndsey Lantz said.

About 30 minutes later, Lantz said that one of the 37 firefighters on the scene had suffered a minor burn injury and was being treated by paramedics on scene.
"Firefighters remain in the offensive mode despite heavy fire on the first and second floors," she said at that time.

The LAFD requested city building officials to respond to the scene "for structural safety and excessive storage conditions."
No injuries were reported.
