Foreclosures Down, Home Sales Dip Slightly in Valley

Recent foreclosure figures for the San Fernando Valley have been the lowest since 2006, just before the Great Recession, the Daily News reports.

In August, there were 63 foreclosed properties, compared to 235 a year ago. But despite that good news, home sales slid slightly last month by 3.7 percent with 1,604 properties being sold compared to 1,665 a year earlier, according to the Daily News.
