Hiker With Leg Injury Airlifted From Chatsworth Park
The woman was hoisted into a hovering helicopter and taken to a hospital in fair condition.
LOS ANGELES, CA — A 30-year-old woman with a leg injury was airlifted Saturday from Stoney Point Park in the Chatsworth area of Los Angeles.
The injury was reported at 2:10 p.m. Saturday in the park bounded by the Ronald Reagan (118) Freeway and Highway 27, said Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart.
The woman was hoisted into a hovering helicopter and taken to a hospital in fair condition, Stewart said.
