In-Home Valley Nurse In Custody After Sex Acts With Patients: LAPD

Police fear other people who have been victimized by the in-home nurse have yet to come forward.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Police say an in-home nurse suspected of exhibiting "unlawful sexual conduct" with incapacitated patients in the San Fernando Valley may have victimized others.

Francisco Gallegos Loaiza, a licensed vocational nurse, cared for patients in their homes in the Valley and in other areas of Los Angeles County, the Los Angeles Police Department said.

He was recently taken into custody on suspicion of what police termed "unlawful sexual conduct" involving the "incapacitated" patients under his care.
