How Did a Chatsworth Porno Studio Get to Film at the Coliseum?
'I mean, who gets to have sex on the Coliseum floor?' says adult film star.

This story begins in 2001 when Anabolic Video Productions of 9223 Eton Ave. trucked its actors and equipment from Chatsworth to the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum to film a 40-minute pornographic feature.
"The filming at the taxpayer-owned stadium was done at night, with the Coliseum's towering lights blazing and its rows of distinctive red and white seats framing many of the scenes. The video also shows the stadium's signature tunnel, which the Trojan team charges through at the start of games, as well as a sliver of the iconic peristyle, the arched entrance to the Coliseum," according to a report in the Los Angeles Times.
And the tale is now told because of the scrutiny brought about by the indictment of former Coliseum General Manager Patrick Lynch in a sweeping corruption scandal.

The Times has been investigating Coliseum operations resulting in Lynch pleading guilty to conflict of interest involving $385,000 in alleged kickbacks. The Times also reported that former events manager Todd DeStefano has pleaded not guilty to charges that include bribery, embezzlement and conspiracy. And four other men also have been indicted.
"I was just in awe that we were at the Coliseum," a star of the film, who goes by the name Mr. Marcus, told the Times. "I've made movies for about 20 years and I've done a lot of things, but that one really stands out.… I mean, who gets to have sex on the Coliseum floor?"
