Husband Dead, Wife Seriously Injured In Valley Domestic Violence Shooting: LAPD
The couple's children called 911 after hearing gunshots, according to a report.
LOS ANGELES, CA — A domestic violence-related shooting in the San Fernando Valley left one man dead and a woman seriously injured Thursday morning, according to police.
The shooting was reported at 7:15 a.m. on the 14600 block of Rex Street, south of Glenoaks Boulevard and Tyler Street in Slymar, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Officers entered the home and found two adults inside a bathroom suffering from gunshot wounds, KTLA reported.

The man, who police described as the suspect in the case, was pronounced dead at the scene, an LAPD spokeswoman said.
The woman, described by police as the victim and the man's husband, was found unresponsive. She was still breathing and was transported to a local hospital in critical condition, KTLA reported.

Police said the couple's two teenage children were home at the time of the incident and called 911 when they heard gunshots, according to the station.
