LA Approves Apartment Building In Northridge
Northridge will be getting a new 51-unit apartment building as part of a county project to promote convenient affordable housing.

NORTHRIDGE, CA — Northridge is set to get an apartment building with 51 units after the city approved the project on Oct. 22.
The building is part of Los Angeles' Transit-Oriented Communities Incentive Program, which incentivizes affordable development projects near bus and trains stations, like offering developers higher density permits.
What Now Los Angeles reported that this particular developer, Uzi Levy, was awarded a higher density and height increase on the building, given that five of the apartments in the building will be designated for extremely low income renters.
