Man Found Dead On Valley Freeway Onramp

A man was found dead on a freeway onramp Tuesday night.

LOS ANGELES, CA — An investigation was continuing Wednesday into the death of a man found unresponsive on a 405 Freeway onramp in Van Nuys.

Officers responded around 5:10 p.m. Tuesday to the northbound onramp at Sherman Way, where the man was discovered lying on the ground, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene, the CHP said.

The man was identified Wednesday by the county Medical Examiner's office as 59-year-old Hagop Mensuroglu.

"No foul play is suspected at this time," CHP officials said in a statement.

Detectives were continuing their investigation Wednesday afternoon.
