Man Gets Stuck In Tree While Trying To Rescue His Cat: Report

Firefighters in the San Fernando Valley had to help a man down from a 60-foot pine tree Thursday night.

NORTH HILLS, CA — A man was rescued by firefighters in the San Fernando Valley Thursday night after he became stuck in a tree while trying to retrieve a cat that had run up the tree, according to a report.

Firefighters were dispatched to the 8900 block of Burnet Avenue regarding the man stuck in the tree at around 11:30 p.m. Crews arrived to find the man stuck in a 60-foot pine tree, KTLA reported.

Video aired by KTLA showed the man's cat perched at the top of the tree, where he was trying to rescue it before he got stuck.
