Man Killed In Sun Valley Hit-And-Run

A man was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Sun Valley Tuesday morning.

SUN VALLEY, CA — A 43-year-man was struck and killed by a vehicle whose driver fled Tuesday in Sun Valley.

The original call came in at about 6:05 a.m. Tuesday for a man down in the area of Laurel Canyon and Roscoe boulevards, according to Los Angeles Police Department Officer Kevin Terzes.

A canopy was requested to cover the body, he said.

There was no description of a suspect or vehicle.

The victim was later identified by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner as Erik Florer.
