Menchie's Joins the MDA Fight

There are only a few days left until the annual Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) television special on KTLA, and a local yogurt shop is participating in the fund-raising effort to fight muscular diseases.

When making an MDA donation of $1 or more, Menchie’s frozen yogurt, at 9201 Winnetka Ave. in Chatsworth, will give customers a 15 percent-off coupon for their next visit.

The Sept. 2 MDA television show called “Show of Strength” will be the first time that Menchie’s is featured on national television.

The MDA offers research, support, advocacy, education, comprehensive health care and children’s summer camps.
